Most car insurance is accepted after a client is involved in an auto accident.  The client will need a prescription for Massage Therapy from a Chiropractor or a Medical Doctor.  Most Chiropractors and other Doctors realize the benefits of receiving Massage Therapy following an auto accident and are willing to write out prescriptions for their patients.  Sara knows wonderful Chiropractors to refer to if a client is not currently receiving chiropractic care.

Massage helps speed up the healing process after an injury has occured by benefiting the body in many different ways.  For example, the treatments help to:

- lengthen the time a chiropractic adjustment holds

- increase range of motion and flexibility

- improve circulation and the immune system

- break up scar tissue and adhesions

- reduce tension and pain

- decrease trigger points and muscle spasms

All of these benefits combined with the health care received from the Doctor facilitate the body's recovery from an injury.   The patient also needs to take some steps at home to help the healing process.  Such as:

- get regular exercise

- eat a healthy diet

- stretch

- drink plenty of water

- take action to decrease negative stressors at work and home

Sara enjoys working with clients to monitor their progress and to assist in their recovery.
